초등 5학년 영어 문법 핵심 패턴 30선
Grade 5 English Grammar · 30 Core Patterns
The 2015 and 2022 national curricula treat Grades 5 and 6 as a single band, so both grades learn the same grammar. This page holds the 30 core sentence patterns for that band.
On top of the sentence frames learned in Grades 3-4, this stage widens tense (past, future, continuous) and adds modal verbs, comparatives and superlatives, and the conjunctions that join reason and condition — the things that give a sentence depth. Work through these 30 patterns and the grammar of the upper elementary years stays.
For words and phrases, tap a word to hear it. Complete sentences also carry a 🔊 Click to listen button.

💡 Tips for Grades 5-6
- 시제 대조 연습 — 같은 문장을 현재 ➔ 과거 ➔ 미래로 바꿔 보는 연습이 시제 감각을 키우는 데 매우 좋습니다. 예: I go to school. ➔ I went to school. ➔ I will go to school.Contrast the tenses — take one sentence and move it through present ➔ past ➔ future. For example: I go to school. ➔ I went to school. ➔ I will go to school.
- 동사 변형표 익히기 — 불규칙 과거동사(go-went, eat-ate 등)와 형용사의 비교급 · 최상급 형태를 노트에 정리하고 입으로 외우도록 합니다.Keep a verb table — write the irregular past forms (go-went, eat-ate) and the comparative and superlative forms in a notebook, and say them aloud until they stick.
- 문장 연결하기 — because, when, if 같은 접속사로 두 문장을 하나의 긴 문장으로 만들어 보는 글쓰기 연습을 권합니다.Join sentences — a good writing exercise is to take two short sentences and make one longer one with because, when or if.
